KEVIN WAYNE DANCY, ESQ., MPA is a Community Development Advisor at the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas-Houston Branch, where he implements the community development function of the Dallas Fed across Texas and northern Louisiana. He conducts and publishes research on a wide range of issues including financial capabilities, consumer finance and lending, community reinvestment, disaster recovery, economic development, housing and small business. Since joining the Fed, he has become a thought leader on many of the issues impacting low- and moderate-income communities within the Fed’s Eleventh District. Kevin previously served as the Deputy Chief of Staff for Congressman Al Green and as Special Counsel to numerous nonprofit organizations. He holds a J.D. from Texas Southern University Thurgood Marshall School of Law and also holds a Master of Public Administration from the University of Houston.
