Elizabeth Hoff joined SOMAVAC as CEO in 2024, bringing over 30 years of executive leadership and commercialization experience in MedTech companies such as Guidant, Gore, and Medtronic. Throughout her career, Elizabeth has successfully launched five standard-of-care-changing technologies, including endovascular aortic repair, saphenous vein harvesting, and implantable cardiac monitoring.

Elizabeth holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business and Psychology from Rice University. Her extensive commercial experience and passion for improving patient care align perfectly with SOMAVAC’s mission to revolutionize surgical wound care and prioritize the well-being of breast cancer survivors and all patients. Her dedication to this mission is deeply personal, inspired by her best friend’s journey through breast cancer and reconstruction.
