Mr. Jarvan Shen was most recently Co-Founder and Managing Principal of Mount Auburn, a US-based multifamily private real estate investment trust (REIT), which owned and managed approximately 10,000 Class A apartment units across 40 communities in high growth US markets.  In 2022, Mr. Shen sold all of Mt. Auburn’s assets in a portfolio sale to Starwood’s SREIT.   Since then, Mr. Shen formed his Rushmore Terrace family office and has been actively investing in various public and alternative asset classes and vehicles.  Mr. Shen also is the Chief Investment Officer of the Barvin Co-GP Fund, which invests in multifamily assets in high growth secondary cities.  Prior to forming Mount Auburn in 2008, Mr. Shen worked in various capacities in private equity, hedge funds, derivatives trading, structured products, and investment banking.  Mr. Shen graduated from Dartmouth College with a dual BA in Economics and Government and attended Harvard Law School.
